  3. Choose Search automatically for drivers and wait for the operation to finish running.

2. Change region settings in your Discord application

  1. In the search box on the lower left corner of your screen, type Discord and select Run as Administrator.

3. Reinstall Discord application

3.1 Uninstall Discord application

  1. On your keyboard, click Windows + X and select Apps and Features.
  2. In the app and feature list, scroll down till you find the Discord app, click on the app, and select Uninstall.

3.2 Reinstall Discord application

  1. Go to discord.com to download the latest version of the application.
  2. Follow instructions to complete installation.
  3. Log into your account and verify if the problem has been fixed.

4. Disable every other audio device

  1. Right-click the audio icon at the bottom right corner of your screen and select Sounds.
  2. Select the Playback tab, right-click on devices that are inactive, and press Disable.
  3. Restart your Discord app and check if the audio quality has improved.

5. Update Windows

  1. Press Windows + I keys on your keyboard and select Updates & Security.
  2. Click check for updates, this will install updates on your PC if available.
